Let's get started!

  • What type of thing do you make at South Coast Metal Fabrication?
This is a great question. In all honesty we are metal fabricators, we enjoy fabricating all things big and small out of Steel, Aluminium, Stainless, Brass and Bronze. If it can be MIG'd TIG'd or stick welded we will get the job done, and done neatly. We have designed our business to promote fabrication of more intricate works as we like to push our skill limits and learn new techniques. We are though equally understanding that every day metalwork needs fabricators and will never turn down mainstream work such as gates and railings and household staircase projects. Drop us a call if you have a metal fabrication job you'd like us to take a look at
  • What metal fabrication services do you offer?
We aim to cover all of the following: Artistic Metalwork Bespoke Sculptures Fabrication of custom metal components Prototyping and Production Maquettes and 3D Modeling Exhibition Display Structures Furniture Design Bespoke Totems and Stands Aluminium Frames and Light Boxes Gates, Railings and Ballustrades Were open to all the weird and wacky (and basic) metalwork projects so don't be shy and come show us what your looking for

Yes That is our primary objective, to supply our clients with bespoke / custom products
  • Do you provide design assistance?
Yes We have a 3D Modelling and Design Dept, who are ready to take you concept and turn it into real drawings that can be amended and changed until you have exactly what it is you want us to make
  • What is the payment protocol?
This part isn't likely to be the same for everyone. but this is the process we aim to follow. 1) Initial conversation and project outline 2) If you have a design and drawings we should be able to provide you with a quote for materials labour and delivery (If this applies to you go to 5) 3) If you don't have drawings or a design your "initial conversation and project outline" will be passed onto our Design Dept. They will asses the time to model and quote to draw up your project. 4) We will then expect you to pay for the design drawings before our team starts work on them. Once design drawings are done you're and happy with them we can then quote for materials, labour and delivery. 5) From this quote you would be expected to pay 50% before we start fabrication. 6)The final 50% and delivery charges would be expected on completion and before dispatch. *With larger, longer more intricate projects the labour payments maybe broken down into smaller chunks and split over the production time

  • Whats the lead time
We completely understand the issues today's client's have, time pressures, your client's lack of decision making leading to tight turnarounds. We have a wealth or experience in fabricating and know how to not waste time (and your money) on slow methodology and design. Therefore the only main time constraints we have to face is delivery (if required) of bespoke elements out of our remit . i.e specialist materials. specialist cutting and folding or elements that have to be bought in. Once we have the go ahead from you and the parts are delivered we're swift and neat in our fabrication turnaround.
