MEET THE TEAM

JAMIE BEATON

Role: Director, Project management and Fabrication

Hello! I’m a Brighton-based fabricator with a deep passion for metalwork and creative construction. Specialising in TIG Ally, brass and bronze and MIG & TIG Steel, I’ve dedicated my career to crafting unique and high-quality pieces.

My journey began in carpentry on film and theatre sets, which then evolved into a love for metalwork working for AB3 in Hackney Wick. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in metal forming, finishing, mould-making, casting, and foundry work, with a focus on metalwork fabrication.

In London, I served as the Senior Fabricator and Workshop Manager at Joe Waller Fabrications. There, I led teams in creating high-end artworks and large sculptures, combining creative problem-solving with advanced welding techniques. We delivered projects to the highest standards for prestigious clients across the UK.

I bring the same dedication and passion to every project I undertake. From renovating my own property to managing complex fabrication projects, I thrive on turning ideas into reality.

Thank you for visiting my site. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate and bring your vision to life with precision and artistry.

ROB FUNG

Role: Design & 3D Modelling

For over a decade I have been working to create large-scale, intricate artworks for blue-chip artists, as well as design stages for dynamic DJs and performers.

Often working with large but tight budgets, immovable deadlines, and the complexities of global shipping. Having a comprehensive understanding of every production step from concept to completion allows for seamlessly connecting design choices to practical feasibility, avoiding costly pitfalls along the way.

I began on the shop floor, where I honed my skills in a wide array of in-house and advanced industrial metalworking processes including CNC machining, 3D printing, Laser cutting, Welding and robotic fabrication.  As well as kinetics, robotics and lighting design from the led chip up to custom lighting control. Knowing when to best utilise these processes to balance, cost, speed of production, ease of assembly and accuracy will mean always getting the best value from your project.

For me the design phase is key and working out as many problems and issues here on a computer will massively save on costs later down the line. I work across a number of 3D design platforms and will often work alongside a client to produce an early array of options through the use of parametric design. 3D renders can also be produced at this stage that can helpfully visualise projects in the environment that they are intended for.

I look forward to working with you to help bring your project to life.

FRANKIE BOYLE

Role: Creative & Lighting Designer

BIO: Frankie Boyle is a neurodivergent, UK-based light artist who merges scientific inquiry with creative expression. Armed with her knowledge of physics, colour theory and the psychology of perception, Frankie's work explores the psychological and emotional impact of light; creating immersive installations that take viewers on journeys of self-discovery. Boyle's deep understanding of the role of light role in communication, cognitive processing and well being informs her work.

Artist Statement:

My fascination with light and how we connect with it has become my main drive and passion in life. Harnessing the essence of that response is the focus in my work. Through my light research, I have learnt to create artworks that allow us to stop, pause and be present with our emotions, with the understanding of how light is perceived and processed by our brains.

Light enriches our lives and with light comes vision, well being and life. I want to utilise light in a way that creates hope, tranquillity, curiosity and reflection within communities for restorative communal health. Through my journey with light, I have continued to learn and be influenced by the dynamic effect, strength, and importance it has on our mental health, human behaviour and well being.
